Alexia is a Registered Dietitian with over 10 years clinical experience working with eating disorders and gastrointestinal conditions. During her career she has worked in adult and CAMHS eating disorder services’ in both an NHS and private setting, as well as medical hospitals working in gastroenterology.
Alexia prides herself in her client centred approach to her work, helping individuals mend their relationship with food whilst supporting medical stability and metabolic recovery.
She provides advice and psycho education around eating disorders and the effects on both body and brain. As well as supporting families and individuals in managing the process of refeeding, weight restoration and/or stabilisation, supporting nutritional variety and practical advice around meal times.
Alexia has also completed Intuitive Eating training which supports individuals to take a step back from diet culture and heal their relationship with food, as well as an MSc in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
Alexia is available on Tuesdsays 9am-5pm and Fridays 9am -1pm.
