Assessments we offer at The Family Treatment Service

We offer a wide range of comprehensive assessments, led by highly qualified clinical experts. Information about the assessment types we offer can be found below, but please note these can only be booked after you have registered and had an initial appointment with the relevant clinician, to understand your needs.

  • ADHD Assessments

    We offer a bespoke and thoughtful ADHD service, from assessment to post-diagnosis support and prescribing at our London clinic. Our ADHD service starts with an initial consultation with a Psychiatry Nurse Prescriber. If an assessment is recommended, this will be led by a Psychiatrist and involves a 2 hour assessment appointment.

  • Autism Assessments for Children

    We provide expert-led Autism assessments and tailored post-diagnosis support at our London clinic and online. We offer a clear diagnosis pathway and our comprehensive assessments use industry leading standards via tools that include ADI-R and ADOS-2. 

  • Autism Assessments for Adults

    We also provide Autism assessments for adults, using industry leading standards via tools that include ADI-R and ADOS-2. We offer a clear diagnosis pathway and support plan to access the world of work or higher education.

  • Eating Disorder Assessments

    The first step to access our Eating Disorder Service is to have an initial assessment with either a senior clinician or a Child & Adolescent Consultant Psychiatrist. Our care plans involve our multi-disciplinary team of experienced clinicians who specialise in eating disorders, disordered eating, self-esteem and body image.

  • Speech & Language Assessments

    We offer Speech & Language assessments and therapy for children experiencing difficulties or differences with any aspect of their speech, language or social communication.

  • Occupational Therapy Assessments

    The first step to access our Occupational Therapy service is an initial appointment to identify the specific areas of difficulty you or your child is experiencing in order to tailor the most appropriate assessment or intervention.

  • Educational Assessments

    Our unique Educational Support Service starts with an initial consultation to explore a child’s learning barriers. We offer a range of comprehensive assessments that may be recommended including Educational Psychology, Cognitive, Fine and Gross motor skills, Developmental Coordination Disorder and more.  

  • General Psychiatry Assessments

    Our psychiatrists address a wide range of conditions including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and addiction, in addition to ADHD and eating disorders.
