Cath Jones
Systemic Psychotherapist
Cath is a Family / Systemic Psychotherapist and Supervisor. She is registered with the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the Association of Family Therapy (AFT).
Cath has 30 years’ experience of working with children, couples and families that have been affected by distressing or challenging relationships, life events or circumstances. She has practised as a therapist within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in the NHS and Local Government, and has also consulted to Social Care Teams and Foster Carers. In addition, she has worked extensively within a paediatric neuro-rehabilitation service for children with an acquired brain injury. The families she has worked with have come from diverse backgrounds and circumstances seeking support on many issues including low mood, anxiety, relationship conflict, developmental trauma, attachment difficulties, children’s neuro-diversity (ADHD/ASD) as well as significant grief. Cath has also been a tutor at the Institute of Family Therapy and has held her own private practice.
Your first meeting with Cath would be used to develop an understanding of your circumstances, experiences and the support you seek, during which she will explain how the therapy process works. A £20 per session discount is offered when 10 sessions are paid for in advance.
Cath is available Tuesdays 3pm -7pm / Wednesday 2pm - 6pm / Thursday 4pm - 6:30pm
