Shanay Dougan
CBT Practitioner
Over 5sShanay is an experienced Mental Health Nurse and CBT Practitioner. She has worked both in the NHS and private sector with adults and adolescents and currently works in an NHS specialist child and adolescent outpatient service in South London.
Shanay has experience in delivering CBT for Generalised anxiety, OCD, self-harm, social anxiety, depression and eating disorders. She also sees young people who have high perfectionism traits and Autism.
Shanay sees adults and children over the age of 5. She is also trained in family therapy for eating disorders and does physical health monitoring for anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and ARFID.

Natalie Hawkins
Natalie is a Person-Centred Psychotherapist and is intensively trained in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). She is registered with the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy (UKCP) and is an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Natalie is also a clinical member of the European Society for Trauma and Dissociation (ESTD) and the Society for Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (SfDBT).
Natalie has been practicing as a psychotherapist for the past twelve years, supporting adults, children, and families from diverse backgrounds in a variety of settings. Currently, Natalie is a Principal Psychotherapist at West London NHS Trust, where she works within acute mental health services with clients experiencing severe and enduring mental health issues. Prior to this, she was the Psychological Lead for the acute adult inpatient wards at the Bethlem Royal Hospital.
Natalie is passionate about early intervention, believing that intervening early prevents life-long mental health issues and provides children with skills and resilience they can draw on throughout their lives. She has worked with children, young people, and their families in primary and secondary schools across London, including Finton House School, where she founded their pastoral counselling service. To support her work, Natalie has undertaken specialist training in parental mental illness at the Anna Freud Centre, DBT for Parents, Couples & Families, and Personalised Individual Parent Training (PIPT) with Kings College London and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. She is a qualified MPACT (Moving Parents and Children Together) practitioner, which is a specialist, whole family therapeutic intervention aiming to improve the wellbeing of children and families affected by substance misuse.
Natalie works with children and young people aged 5 to 18 years at The Family Treatment Service. She aims to provide a safe space in which her young clients can express themselves and be heard, enabling them to better understand themselves and develop skills to cope with their thoughts and feelings. Using the mediums of play, creative work, and talk, Natalie is experienced in working with a range of issues. As a DBT therapist, she is trained and experienced in working compassionately with those engaging in self-harm and other potentially harmful behaviours.

Sam Ollman-Hirt
Systemic Psychotherapist
Individuals | Families | CouplesSam is a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist registered with the UKCP and the Association of Family Therapists. Sam also trained and qualified as a psychodynamic counsellor with the BACP. This means that he is able to work therapeutically with individuals, couples, families and children.
Sam has worked in the Mental Health field for the past fifteen years; he works in the NHS in a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) providing family therapy, individual psychotherapy and supervision to mental health colleagues. Sam has experience of working with children and families from a diverse range of backgrounds and across all ages. Sam has experience working in a variety of settings including CAMHS settings, and non-mental health settings including primary and secondary schools and social care teams offering therapy and staff consultation and supervision.
Sam has also worked privately seeing families, couples and Individuals from his consulting room in East London before moving to Norfolk where he continues to see clients online.
Sam sees clients online only on a Thursday evening & Sunday afternoon.

Cath Jones
Systemic Psychotherapist
Over 14sCath is a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist as well as an accredited Systemic Supervisor. She is registered with the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the Association of Family Therapy (AFT).
Cath has over 30 years’ experience of working with children, young people and their families that have been affected by distressing or challenging relationships, life events or circumstances. In the last 18 years she has practiced as a qualified therapist, within NHS and Local Government Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). This has included consulting to Social Care Teams and Foster Carers as well as providing therapy for Children that are Looked After. In addition, Cath has worked as a Family Therapist for a charity offering residential neurorehabilitation to children with an acquired brain injury. Families have come from diverse backgrounds and circumstances seeking support on a variety of issues including children’s neurodiversity (ADHD/ASD), relational conflict, developmental trauma and attachment difficulties, low mood, anxiety, as well as significant loss and grief. Cath has also been a tutor at the Institute of Family Therapy and held her own private practice.

Dr Ana Pérez Montoya
Clinical Psychologist
Over 11sAna is a Clinical Psychologist with 13 years of clinical experience. She is registered with the Healthcare Professions Council (HCPC). Ana sees clients aged between 11 and 18 from our Wimbledon clinic on a Friday.
Ana trained in Spain as a Clinical Psychologist and worked in private settings with children, adolescents and adults. She started working for the NHS in 2016, when she joined the Emotional Disorders Team in Bedford (East London NHS Foundation Trust) and later in Harrow (Central and North West London Trust). At present she is Sub Team Lead for the Emotional Disorders Team in Harrow.
Ana also worked as Child Well-being Practitioner Supervisor and Service Development Lead across Harrow, Brent and Hillingdon, promoting Early Intervention services in schools and CAMHS settings.
Ana has extensive experience of working with children, young people and their families, experiencing a wide range of mental health difficulties, conducting specialised assessments and delivering CBT. She has experience of working with young people experiencing neurodevelopmental difficulties and is ADOS trained.
Ana is very passionate about working with children and young people, and is very committed to delivering quality, evidence based Interventions.

Dr Zara Rahemtulla
Clinical Psychologist
Children & Under 5sZara is a Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in supporting children, parents and their families. She has previously worked for the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust, supporting babies and young children, and at the South London and Maudsley NHS Trust, helping adolescents who self-harm, and families who had a child struggling with an eating disorder. Zara is also a qualified Family, Systemic Practitioner.
Throughout her time in the NHS, Zara has developed a special interest in supporting parents with babies and children. She has expertise in understanding toddler and child brain development, and draws from the most up-to-date and current research models. She is experienced in supporting parents to feel confident about themselves and the way they raise their children. She also runs parent and child groups, offering strategies and advice on how to manage thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Zara believes that all families deserve the opportunity to be heard, understood and supported.
In her work she takes the time to listen and understand someone’s story, tailoring therapy to the specific needs of the family/parent/child. She draws from various psychological approaches such as mindfulness, compassion focussed therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, family therapy and psychodynamic approaches.
Zara is also a supervisor and teacher – she has lectured at various Universities, supervised student research and offers consultation to other professionals. She receives regular supervision to guide her thinking and accesses training to enrich her mind, body and soul.

Sarah Webb
Children & Adolescents Clinician
Over 12sSarah is a child and adolescent therapist with over 15 years experience working across NHS and private services. Sarah initially worked in an eating disorders in patient service, but most recently has been working on an NHS general adolescent unit delivering both group and individual therapy. Sarah is currently working at a private school in South West London to develop their well-being service.
Sarah has undertaken further specific training in Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing). This has enabled her to support and work with adolescents and young people with a wide range of presentations including depression, PTSD, self-harm and emotional dysregulation/relational difficulties.
Sarah is also able to complete ADOS and 3Di assessments.

Lucy Taylor
Consultant Clinical Psychologist
Dr Lucy Taylor is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years experience in both the NHS and private practice. She provides individual therapeutic work for children, young people, their families and adults.
Dr Taylor's main areas of interest and specialism are cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), child and adolescent emotional wellbeing, parental stress , anxiety disorders, eating disorders and self-harm. She is trained in a range of evidence-based therapies, with specialist training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) for Post-Traumatic Stress. In addition, she has trained in mindfulness and has the Paws.b qualification to enable her to teach mindfulness within primary schools. She is an accredited child and adolescent member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Prior to moving into independent practice, Lucy set up and jointly led the Child and Adolescent Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Service at the Maudsley Hospital. This service offers intensive therapeutic work for suicidal young people and their families.
Dr Taylor has also published a CBT book for treating young people who self-harm with Routledge and the second edition is out in July 2022.

Manuel Navarro Gimeno
Systemic Psychotherapist
Manuel is an experienced Systemic Psychotherapist and Family Therapist, as well as an accredited Supervisor. He is registered with the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy (UKCP) and with the Association of Family Therapy (AFT).
He is one of our specialist eating disorders clinicians with 20 years of experience of working in the NHS within adults and child and adolescent services, having specialist knowledge and experience working with patients experiencing psychosis, depression, anxiety, eating disorders and challenging behaviours.
He supports young people and young adults who are experiencing emotional difficulties such as anxiety, depression and eating disorders to achieve their goals, using evidence-based approaches, and supportive conversations with family members to facilitate and strengthen their recovery process.
Manuel is also passionate to help young people who may struggle to access services by themselves, equipping parents and caregivers with the skills and resources they need to support their loved one.
Manuel has trained in empirical models and therapy techniques to help individuals, couples and families. Some of these specialist interventions are interpersonal Therapy (ITP), Family-Based Treatment (FBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Non-violent resistance (NVR).
In his current NHS role he leads a team of CAMHS clinicians in schools.

Dr Kirsty Newbury
Child & Educational Psychologist
Children and Young PeopleKirsty is an approachable, thoughtful and empathetic Child and Educational Psychologist, who has experience of working therapeutically with children, young people, parents and families in a number of settings including the NHS, schools and private practice.
Central to Kirsty’s way of working is taking time to listen to and understand clients, so that she can establish rapport and respond with a therapeutic approach, which is tailored to their specific needs. Additionally, Kirsty is qualified as a Family Systemic Practitioner and she believes in working collaboratively with families to promote emotional well-being for children and young people.
Kirsty currently works with children and young people experiencing social, emotional and mental health needs, special educational needs and neurodiverse clients such as those who have been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Kirsty draws from various psychological approaches such a cognitive behavioural therapy, family therapy, art therapy, narrative therapy, psychodynamic approaches and mindfulness.
Kirsty is available on Wednesday's 9-5pm

Rebecca Gregan
CBT Therapist
Rebecca is a BABCP accredited cognitive behavioural therapist who passionate about supporting adults and adolescents.
She has spent the last six years in the NHS in specialist services, delivering group and individual interventions. She has also worked within the Maudsley Centre for Child and Adolescent Eating Disorders.
Rebecca uses evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy-Enhanced (CBT-E) and uses her knowledge of other therapeutic approaches to tailor treatment to the individual. She aims to create an environment, without judgement, in which individuals can understand their difficulties and learn invaluable skills.

Leah Jones
Speech & Language Therapist
Leah is a highly experienced speech and language therapist who has worked in both the private and public sector (NHS and Local Authority) for over 10 years. Leah has supported children and young people presenting with a range of speech, language and communication needs. She is able to support pre-school and school aged (primary and secondary) children/young people. Leah has focused much of her work on supporting individuals presenting with social communication differences/Autism. Her expertise in this field has enabled her to develop a deep understanding of the unique communication challenges faced by children on the autism spectrum. Leah is passionate about using a neuro diversity affirming framework to develop her client’s communication skills, increase their social interactions, and enhance their overall quality of life.
Throughout her career, Leah has worked with children of all ages and backgrounds. She has a wealth of experience in developing individualised treatment plans that address each child's specific needs and goals. Leah is also skilled at working collaboratively with families and other professionals to ensure that her clients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
Leah is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field of speech and language therapy for children. She regularly attends professional development workshops and conferences to expand her knowledge and refine her skills. Her dedication to ongoing learning and improvement is a testament to her passion for helping children with speech, language and communication needs reach their full potential.

Rebekah Easton
Clinical Psychologist
Becks is a Clinical Psychologist who has a wealth of experience of working therapeutically with children, families, and adults. Alongside her work at The Family Treatment Service, she works within the NHS. She has previously worked in a local Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, supporting young people with mental health concerns and at St George’s University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, supporting children and parents to manage acute and long-term health conditions. She currently works for Croydon Health Services NHS Trust supporting babies and families on the Neonatal Unit.
Becks is an experienced, thoughtful Clinical Psychologist who utilises playful approaches to ensure that each child, or whatever age, feels comfortable in speaking to her. She is passionate about supporting everyone in the family and believes that supporting parents is essential, as this has positive outcomes for the whole family. Becks is qualified to utilise a variety of different psychological models such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy and she draws on systemic approaches. She has worked with young people who have additional needs such as Learning Disabilities, Autistic Spectrum Conditions and long-term physical health conditions.
Becks is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and is a member of the Association of Clinical Psychologist (ACP-UK). She receives regular supervision and attends training to guide her thinking, keep up to date with the evidence base, and to ensure that she is offering the best possible service to anyone that comes to see her. She also provides consultation services to other professionals and has lectured on Clinical Psychology training courses.

Dr Kerri Walster
Clinical Psychologist
Kerri has worked as a pathway lead for families with children under the age of five in a CAMH service, in East London NHS Trust since 2020. Prior to this she worked in a specialist perinatal and under five’s service for the Tavistock and Portman since 2017.
She completed a BSc in psychology in 2013, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2017. Since qualifying, she has trained in Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT), Incredible Year’s Toddler’s Parenting Programme, Video Intervention for Positive Parenting and Sensitive Discipline (VIPP-SD) and gained an Infant Mental Health Diploma in 2020.
Kerri is a supervisor offering child psychotherapists/psychologists, midwives, and health visitors, a reflective space for the important work they do with parents, and also accesses regular supervision and training for guidance and learning in her own practice.
She is BPS, HPCP registered and is with a healthcare insurance provider.
Kerri is a keen advocate for empowered mothering and fathering, and resistance to individualised narratives about parenting. She works integratively drawing on a range of theoretical approaches to inform her work primarily, attachment theory, systemic practice, psychodynamic and neurodevelopmental approaches. Kerri has experience of working with children and adolescents across the age range 0-18

Dr Mollie Higgins
Child & Educational Psychologist
ChildrenBiography: Mollie is a HCPC registered Child and Educational Psychologist. After working at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust supporting children with complex emotional needs, Mollie was inspired to return to the Tavistock to complete her professional doctorate. Mollie has worked in a range of schools, including primary, secondary and specialist settings, as well as having experience working in CAMHS and Local Authorities. Mollie supports children and young people with a range of needs including learning needs, social, emotional and mental health needs and neurodevelopmental conditions. Mollie has undertaken research with autistic young people who struggle to attend school and is passionate about participatory approaches that ensure the voices of young people are heard. Mollie is skilled in supporting individuals with social communication differences such as autism, using a neurodiversity-affirming approach and provides support around understanding their diagnosis, exploring thinking patterns and identifying their unique profile of strengths and needs. In addition, Mollie is passionate about using a systemic approach to support children and young people experiencing school attendance difficulties. Mollie is guided by principles of attachment theory, psychodynamic theory, personal construct psychology and systemic approaches. She utilises a range of approaches in her work with children and young people, including cognitive behavioural, narrative, mindfulness-based and play-based approaches. Mollie is skilled in facilitating consultations with the systems around children and young people and uses psychology to make sense of children’s behaviour, helping to shift narratives and promote positive outcomes.

Yasmin Rahemtulla
Psychotherapist
Yasmin has over 20 years’ experience working as a Mental Health Nurse as well as Couples Psychotherapist experience for the past 12 years.
Working in the NHS, Yasmin has worked in CAMHS offering assessment and treatment to young people/teenagers with a wide range of mental health issues such as, but not limited to, anxiety/depression, self-harm, school refusal, family issues and challenges within friendships.
Yasmin has also worked at the Tavistock clinic on a specialist team that was set up to provide support to young people who were at risk of placement breakdown in foster care. She provided confidential one to one sessions for those at risk within that service.
Yasmin works with a person-centred approach, incorporating other therapeutic styles where appropriate.
Having had management positions over the years, supervised other mental health professionals and provided training, her passion is working directly with young people, in particular the teenage years.
As well as working with young people, Yasmin has been working as couple’s counsellor with Relate since 2018.
Yasmin completed an MSc in Psychotherapy at Surrey University in 2005. Yasmin qualified at a couples counsellor in 2014 and is a member of BACP as well as The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society.
